We are Clitoris Factory, a small company based in Utrecht, dedicated to the liberation of the clitoris. This fantastic human organ has been shadowbanned for years, but it’s time for the clitoris to shine. That’s where we come in. We provide affordable clitoris models for educational purposes, empowering people with the knowledge that has long been hidden.

Chic de Piemel began in 2022 as a blend of humor and innovation, founded by Peter van der Wijk (he/him). With a background in medical imaging and a passion for 3D printing, Peter launched his brand with humorous dick earrings. However, the brand’s path took a turn when a friend requested a 3D-printed clitoris, shifting Chic de Piemel from playful humor to also having a purposeful impact. This project uncovered a critical gap in public awareness about clitoral anatomy, inspiring Peter to redefine his brand's mission. Today, Chic de Piemel uses humor and design not just for fun, but to empower and educate. (Check out the Chic de Piemel earrings in our webshop!)

Since then, we’ve sent many clitoris models to primary schools in collaboration with the Rutgers Institute, sold products in collaboration with Soa Aids Nederland and developed products for Fontys University of Applied Sciences and they have found their way into the offices of sexologists, museums, onto TV, and into the public eye. 

Esmay van Loenen (they/them), an artist also known as ASSMAYONAISE, recently completed their fine arts degree at HKU. They are deeply passionate about educating others, breaking down the stigma surrounding vulvas and various sexual topics, and promoting the inclusion of queer voices in these important conversations. Esmay joined Peter and Clitoris Factory became what it is today: an artistic collaboration between two passionate creators using art, humor, and education to inspire change. Our name, Clitoris Factory, is an ironic nod to the modern, capitalist society we live in. Our revolutionary idea: Pleasure is power.
